Chamber music has always been considered a paradigm of private music-making practice. Artists who are familiar with each other come together in a place where they explore the traditional repertoire anew for themselves or in close contact with listeners and sometimes also open up unknown musical worlds. The pandemic has also endangered this form of community in the long term. Arnold Schönberg's String Trio, composed during the recovery phase after a serious illness, may symbolically represent the summer concert of an ensemble of friends who have been musically connected to the Arnold Schönberg Center for many years.

The concert will be streamed live on facebook and YouTube.
